Terms of Service

1. The service

SouAR provides augmented-reality photo products and a creator platform: printed photo magnets whose images, when viewed through the SouAR app or a SouAR web link, play an associated video ("AR memories"). Business subscribers additionally receive dashboard access to create AR memories for their own clients.

2. Your content

You keep full ownership of every photo and video you upload. By uploading, you grant SouAR only the technical license needed to store, process (e.g. compress, generate recognition data), and display that content as part of your AR experience — nothing more.

You confirm you have the right to use the content you upload: it's yours, or the people in it have agreed. You may not upload content that is illegal, infringes someone else's rights, or is intended to harass or harm.

3. Subscriptions & views (business accounts)

Business plans are billed monthly and metered by AR views — the number of times any of your AR memories is watched in a calendar month (Basic 1,000 · Plus 2,200 · Growth 5,000 · Unlimited). Folders and AR creations are unlimited on all plans.

When a plan's monthly view quota is exhausted, AR playback for that workspace pauses until the next calendar month or an upgrade. View counters reset on the first of each month. New business accounts receive a 14-day trial with a limited view allowance.

Subscriptions can be canceled anytime; access continues to the end of the paid period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where the service materially failed and we could not fix it.

4. What we promise — and what we can't

We work hard to keep the service fast and available, and we quality-check every trigger photo before it is approved so it scans reliably. However, AR recognition depends on real-world conditions (lighting, print quality, camera quality, screen glare); occasional imperfect scans are part of the technology and not a defect.

The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, SouAR's total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost data caused by events outside our reasonable control.

5. Fair use

Don't attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or misuse the platform; don't use it to distribute malware or spam; don't resell access to the platform itself without a written agreement with SouAR. We may suspend accounts that put other customers' memories at risk, after reasonable notice where possible.

6. Physical products

Orders for physical magnets and boards placed through getsouar.com or our social channels are subject to the delivery terms communicated at the time of order. Manufacturing defects are replaced free of charge — contact us with a photo of the issue.

7. Governing law & changes
